Knights of God Academy – Review – Enter for a Chance to WIN!

Keith Tusing August 15, 2013 5

“If you created a Kingdom this summer, don’t take down your castle just yet.  Take a medieval adventure and discover the Knights of God Academy!

This 12 week curriculum uses an exciting medieval theme to teach kids the Armor of God! Knights Academy uses interactive Bible stories, fun games, and a trip into the wardrobe to help kids learn the value of practicing and using God’s armor in their life every day! For your multi-media learners, there’s awesome Lyric worship videos from Uncle Charlie and each week you can view a clip from “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” that ties in directly with a piece of armor!

The lives your kids will experience range from David, Esther, Daniel, Jonah, Jesus, Peter, and Paul. They will see how they learned to use a piece of armor to change their life and devote their hearts to God.

Every week, you will focus on one story and one piece of armor, so you will have two weeks to review each piece. The final two weeks will focus completely on the Feet of the Gospel and will include a fun and easy service project so that knights can live out their faith!”

The incorporation of each of the learning styles in this material is well done. If you are looking for an affordable, creative, 12 week study Knights of God Academy is certainly worth considering.

Keith, you’re back with review and giveaway.. That’s good to hear. We used NetGen4Christ’s Knights of God VBS this past summer. So this academy should be worth taking a look at.

What theme would you like to see in a Children’s Bible study curriculum?

Social Media Based. “Follow” Jesus, Be “Like” Him, Don’t “Tweet”, Proclaim His Message, etc…

What theme I would like to see is a spy or secret agent. So many of my kids are into the Lego Ninjago, it would be fun to have a theme to tie into that also.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am glad that you discuss items pertaining to use of character’s to use, to speak about Christ. Although many of cartoon characters appear to be noble in their intentions of bravery, there has been a shift in the leaders guiding them. Sensei and Master are title’s of these Leaders and they openly talk about Meditation and Psychic abilities to little one’s. My son’s both speak about meditation and have even, dropped into the “Lotus Position” to demonstrate. While some might say it’s harmless, as they don’t know what they are “really doing”. My son’s were introduced to these Character’s at a relative’s home, and they have been captivated by them. They have also introduced a Temple of Light in the toy line-modeled on combination of Buddhist Temple with Temple Guardians i.e. Demon guardians in the front of. My son indicated the temple is where the Ninja’s from Ninjago get their power from. Practice discernment when letting these elements in, as you will have to deal with the fruit produced in your children and their witness to the world. I am fighting this battle now.
