during the summer we’re holding two sessions of children’s worship time for elementary kids and putting Sunday school on hiatus

Our mid-week program doesn’t meet during summer, but we have special events like VBS.

    Frank & Vanessa,
Thanks for sharing. Our Sunday mornings change during the summer in that we give our Small Group leaders the summer off and use a Large Group format.

We dont change our format we change content. Summer is the perfect time for in depth teaching and more scripture memorization, things that are hard to do during the school year because the kids are on brain overload.

We usually give our small group leaders the summer off and use a video based curriculum during the summer.
