Children\s Ministry YouthThis week we are giving away THREE  of my favorite books:

Building Faith at Home by Mark A. Holmen – “While church programs and Sunday School can do much to encourage belief in today’s youth, studies have shown that the influence of a family upon a child is much stronger. In fact, Mom and Dad are two to three times more influential than any church program in passing on a lifelong faith to their children.  What does this mean fro our ministries to families and children?”

Intentional Parenting by Ted Thompson – “There are thousands of books on how to live the Christian life.  At least a couple of dozen of these books involving family life and child training are well worth reading.  THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE BOOKS.  This book will allow you to take what you have read, and all the sermons, teachings, and exhortation you have received on family discipleship and make sense of it.”

Jumping the Track by Roger Fields – “Ready for an abrupt change? Abandon long-term goal setting.  Failure: Why you need it and how it will help you. 5 tracks you can jump. How an obscure pastor created a national production that reaches tens of thousands!”

For my part, it would have to be Josh McDowell’s Beyond Beliefs to Convictions
